Venue and Event Coordinator

About the role

Showstopper is seeking an experienced, highly organized Venue and Event Coordinator to manage contracts for its 80+ city tour. Reporting to the Founder and National Director, you will protect long‑standing venue relationships and ensure every show opens on time, in the right room, at the right price.

Key responsibilities

• Own the master calendar and central repository for all venue contracts, driving the 2028 contract cycle.
• Route contracts through legal, apply financial guidelines, negotiate pricing, and audit final bills.
• Expand capacity at sold‑out shows quickly, manage waiting lists, and track revenue captured.
• Maintain long‑standing venue partnerships through regular communication and post‑show debriefs.
• Scout, visit, and assess new venues, keeping a ready list of replacement options.
• Keep venue records, guidelines, and pricing history current and report status, cost variances, and pipeline.

Required profile

• Strong negotiator with solid financial judgment.
• Exceptionally organized, able to manage 80+ concurrent contracts.
• Dependable under pressure, personable with venue contacts and internal teams.
• Willing to travel regularly to venues and shows across the tour.
