Vendor Business Development – Equipment Finance (West Coast)

About the role

Altius Search Group is recruiting for a Vendor Business Development professional to support an equipment finance lessor serving dealers, distributors, and manufacturers on the West Coast. The role is remote and focuses on originating and managing vendor financing programs.

Key responsibilities

• Originate small- to mid-ticket vendor financing programs and develop leasing programs with qualified equipment manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and resellers.
• Work with vendors and their customers to structure and present financing products, handling account management from application through funding.
• Negotiate lease terms and pricing, gather credit information for underwriting, and provide front‑line sales support for financial products.
• Market equipment finance services through outbound calls and marketing materials, support existing manufacturer programs, and expedite ongoing transactions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in equipment financing or related sales.
• Strong understanding of the equipment financing marketplace and the benefits of financing for lessees and vendors.
• Executive‑level sales, negotiating and closing skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding financial goals.
• Ability to work independently and achieve set objectives.

Required skills

• Experience in origination and account management of vendor financing programs.
• Negotiation and pricing expertise for lease terms.
• Knowledge of credit underwriting processes.
