Full‑Time Merchandising Specialist

About the role

The Retail Merchandising Specialist works as a dedicated BDS representative, handling break‑fix, installation, and ad‑hoc maintenance of in‑store displays. You will travel within a market area, install and service fixtures, and support other representatives through training.

Key responsibilities

• Install, build, and maintain displays, end caps, and fixturing, including security, cabling, wiring, monitors, and audio connectivity.
• Perform break‑fix repairs, troubleshoot display issues, and ensure all equipment is fully functional.
• Reset planograms, manage POP, pricing, and fact tags, and complete weekly store visits within 48‑72 hours.
• Lead multi‑rep projects, travel up to 120 miles, and report status of each visit accurately.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience building displays, fixturing, and connecting monitor cabling.
• Ability to read schematics, use a personal smartphone/tablet with GPS, and upload photos and reports in‑store.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a basic toolkit.
