About the role

The Westin Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA is hiring a Valet Parker. You will greet guests on arrival and departure and park and retrieve their vehicles in line with guest service and sustainability standards. The role sits on a growth path from Guest Service Agent to Bell Captain and then Guest Service Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Park guest vehicles and retrieve them in a timely and courteous way, using claim tickets to ensure proper delivery.
• Carry packages, luggage or boxes up to 75 lbs from cars, buses and vans, placing them on baggage carts or in a secure area for bell staff.
• Read luggage tags and issue claim tickets so luggage reaches the right guests.
• Follow the HHM EarthView sustainability program and safe work habits, including wearing protective equipment and following MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous related experience is a plus.
• Work schedule varies and may include holidays and weekends; the job requires standing, walking, lifting up to 75 pounds and bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling or crouching.
