Guest Service Agent

About the role

The Guest Service Agent greets, registers and assists guests in a courteous manner while upholding hotel brand and sustainability standards. This front‑desk position is essential for delivering a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, register them, assign rooms and verify payment methods.
• Make, confirm and modify reservations using the PMS system.
• Compute bills, collect payments, issue change and handle safe‑deposit services.
• Answer telephone calls, transmit messages and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Resolve guest complaints or escalate to a supervisor when needed.
• Assist in the breakfast area or with luggage during peak periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer‑service experience or equivalent training required.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Property Management System (PMS) platforms.
