About the role

International Financing Review (IFR), the premier source for in-depth reporting on the global capital markets, is seeking a Senior Reporter to lead its coverage of the US high-grade bond market, one of the most dynamic and influential sectors in finance. As a key member of the newsroom, you will be the go-to expert on US investment-grade corporate bonds, with work appearing across IFR's platforms, from real-time screens to its flagship weekly magazine.

Key responsibilities

• Break market-moving news and deliver insightful analysis on trends, deals and key players.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier sources such as investors, bankers, corporate executives and legal experts.
• Represent IFR at industry events and in media appearances as the face of the high-grade bond coverage.
• Collaborate with a seasoned editorial team to refine stories and raise reporting standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience covering US corporate bond markets or related financial sectors.
• A strong network of industry contacts and a passion for cultivating new sources.
• Exceptional writing skills with a knack for clarity, context and storytelling.
• Editorial leadership and a collaborative mindset.

What we offer

• Anticipated base salary of $112,500 - $187,500, depending on location, city and state.
