Urologist - Men's Health

About the role

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking a urologist for its North Houston campus. The practice is busy and well established, offering minimally invasive techniques such as the UroLift System and the UroNav Fusion Biopsy System, plus access to multiple surgical suites, privileges at an ambulatory center and a community hospital with a da Vinci robotic system.

Key responsibilities

• Treat patients in the office from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
• Take periodic hospital call at night depending on the assigned call group; overnight stays are typically not required.
• Manage conditions such as bladder control problems, urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate problems (including benign enlargement and cancer), male infertility, erectile dysfunction, vasectomy and reversals, and cancers of the kidney, bladder, prostate and testicles.

Required profile

• Graduate of an approved urology training program in the United States.
• Licensed or willing to become licensed in the State of Texas.
• Board certified or board eligible.

• Compensation generally ranging from $384,000 to $672,000, based on quality, with bonus eligibility.
