Upper Extremities Sales Associate - Minneapolis

About the role

Stryker is hiring a field-based Upper Extremities Sales Associate in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The associate partners with the area's Sales Representatives to learn the medical device industry and the Upper Extremities business, then contributes to growth in the assigned territory. The role involves attending surgeries, educating clinicians and supporting the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Attend surgeries using Stryker Upper Extremities products, ensuring availability and instructing surgeons on product use.
• Educate doctors, nurses and staff on product use, maintenance, updates, portfolio changes and educational programs.
• Identify sales opportunities with the Sales Representative, develop responses to new prospects and build customer relationships.
• Tailor promotional messages after product training, advise on product selection and answer questions about functionality and competition.
• Perform field calls, help implement new sales plans and marketing strategies, and meet and exceed business targets (quotas).
• Act as primary backup contact for the Sales Representative, support inventory management and PO processing, and resolve account problems.
• Stay current on industry, customer and competitive trends, attend sales and professional association meetings outside regular hours, and follow AdvaMed compliance and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree or medical certification (e.g., CST, PT, CPT) plus at least 2 years of professional or related experience.
• High school diploma plus at least 4 years of professional or related experience.
• 4 years of active duty military service (preferred).
• Preferred: demonstrated success in sales, military, leadership, athletics or performance-based settings; healthcare or clinical exposure; bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Biology, Healthcare Administration, Business or a related field; sales or healthcare internship or experience.

What we offer

• Starting pay of $68,250, with eligibility for commission and/or bonuses and benefits.
• 50% travel percentage.
