Unemployment Claims Assistant

About the role

Vensure Employer Solutions, an HR technology and service provider headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, is hiring an Unemployment Claims Assistant. The role supports the Unemployment Services team with administrative and clerical assistance throughout the unemployment claims process, ensuring timely and accurate handling of documentation, correspondence and data entry in line with state and federal regulations. Regular on-site attendance is required.

Key responsibilities

• Rout inbound mail, email, case files and inquiries to the right people and prepare and send outbound claim responses and supporting documents.
• Enter and update client and claim information in the Unemployment Tracking software, keeping data accurate and compliant with regulations.
• Maintain physical and digital filing systems, tracking logs and databases, and keep audit-ready records.
• Input sensitive, time-critical information to meet procedural deadlines and help resolve claims quickly.
• Assist with employee recognitions, maintain the team calendar and support team meetings and events.
• Support ad hoc projects and initiatives assigned by leadership.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of experience, skills, education, certifications or job training preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn other applications.
• Ability to learn multiple HRIS and vendor partner platforms; no licenses or certifications required.
• Sedentary office work with occasional walking, minimal lifting, and regular face-to-face and virtual collaboration.
