Traveling Heavy Equipment Operator

About the role
C. A. Murren is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to travel throughout Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and the Florida Panhandle. The position offers paid per diem and a dedicated career development plan.
Key responsibilities
- Operate mainline hoes to dig trenches for sewer and set trench boxes.
- Operate dozers, preferably with GPS Trimble systems, to fine‑grade and trim surfaces.
- Travel to multiple job sites across the southeastern United States as required.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of heavy civil construction experience.
- Valid driver’s license and U.S. citizenship.
- Willingness to participate in pre‑employment and random drug screening and background checks.
Required skills
- Track hoe operation.
- Dozer operation.
- GPS Trimble knowledge for dozer grading.
- Mainline hoe operation for trench work.
