About the role

The Transportation Support Coordinator works from home assisting drivers, dispatchers, brokers, and operations to keep freight moving without delays. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates who want to learn logistics fundamentals and later transition into an independent freight dispatcher role.

Key responsibilities

Provide drivers with updated instructions, addresses, and appointment times; track ETAs, delays, breakdowns, and HOS considerations.
Confirm pickup and delivery appointments, track loads, and give real‑time updates to brokers and shippers.
Verify BOLs, PODs, and ensure freight matches documentation; upload paperwork into the TMS and track detention, layover, and TONU opportunities.
Send check calls, status updates, and maintain professional relationships with shippers and brokers.

Required profile

Clear communication and strong organizational abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.

Required skills

Basic familiarity with load boards.
Basic familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
