Transportation Services Manager

About the role

Airbus Helicopters in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Transportation Services Manager to lead local logistics, carrier relationships, and strategic process improvements. The role focuses on delivering cost‑effective, scalable transportation operations that support growing customer demand.

Key responsibilities

• Manage carrier tenders, rate negotiations and transportation cost allocation, including automation of processes.
• Lead transportation service provider selection, conduct regular business reviews, and monitor performance and billing accuracy.
• Develop and implement lean processes, process automation, and continuous‑improvement projects to achieve cost savings.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Operations to anticipate demand, design win‑win transportation solutions, and ensure budget adherence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain or Finance.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in transportation, logistics, warehousing, or freight forwarding.
• Proven supplier and relationship management experience.
• Ability to analyze large, multi‑dimensional data sets and understand transportation costs, including accessorial charges.
