About the role
The Material Handler (Temp) will support Airbus Helicopters' Material Management Team in Grapevine, TX, handling receiving, stocking, and shipping of parts. The role ensures that vendor purchase orders are processed accurately and that shipments are prepared according to priority and SAP procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Receive vendor purchase orders and verify carton counts against Airway Bills or Bills of Lading.
- Pick delivery notes by priority using a handheld scanner following warehouse procedures.
- Stock parts using a handheld scanner in accordance with warehouse standards.
- Pack shipments physically and systematically in SAP, respecting priority and warehouse guidelines.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of warehousing experience.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Required skills
- SAP (experience desirable).
- Forklift operation.
- Cherry picker operation.
- Handheld scanner usage.
