Logistics Specialist – Command Center

About the role

The Logistics Specialist in the Command Center will manage supplier communications, production scheduling and inventory control to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. You will act as a key liaison between suppliers, production planners and customers, driving accuracy and efficiency across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Provide master production schedules by line and product, load them into SAP and run MPS for supplier distribution.
• Communicate daily with planners and suppliers to avoid shortages, track delivery performance and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain finished‑goods inventory levels, accuracy and target turns; troubleshoot SAP issues and release materials against blanket purchase orders.
• Monitor incoming EDI, manage freight costs, and coordinate with logistics and shipping to meet customer requirements.
• Support pre‑production activities, including PO receipt, supplier lead‑time management and logistics checklist compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or a related field.
• Previous planning experience with customer/supplier relations and production line planning; purchasing experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities, capable of working independently under standard procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (material movements, sales orders, shipping, etc.).
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (including PowerBI), PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience with additional software such as Axalant or similar test tools.
