TPA Retirement Plan Counselor

About the role

The TPA Retirement Plan Counselor builds and supports Third-Party Administrator relationships in the sales, service, and retention of retirement plans on Capital Group’s recordkeeping platforms. This role provides education and support on investment and retirement plan solutions to help TPAs serve their clients and advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a large regional territory, influencing senior-level clients and internal teams.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert on TPAs for sales, product, marketing, compliance, and retirement plan services.
• Develop processes, lead projects of significant scope, and ensure timely completion of work.
• Provide education on Capital Group’s investment and retirement plan solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in third‑party administration, retirement plan sales, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and collaboration abilities.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of 401(k) plans, ERISA regulations, and retirement industry trends.
