Lead Management Analyst

About the role

The Lead Management Analyst provides senior‑level oversight of budget, contract, and program management for the Medical and Dental Enterprise Office (MDEO). The position serves as the primary project representative, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and delivering effective training and guidance to staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assign tasks, set deadlines, monitor progress, and maintain tracking systems to ensure program efficiency.
• Identify deficiencies, coach staff, develop training materials, and deliver training to MDEO and other business lines.
• Prepare and deliver oral presentations to senior management across multiple VA offices and external agencies.
• Serve as project manager for bureau‑wide initiatives, prepare team reports, and update standard operating procedures.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal audits of contracts, budgets, and program operations to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a one‑year probationary period.
• GS‑14 level with at least 52 weeks of service at the GS‑13 level.
• Extensive experience in federal budget formulation, execution, and financial audit processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
