TPA Client Service Representative I

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a MEBS TPA Client Service Representative I for its National Team in Greenville, South Carolina. You will provide responsive service for information inquiries and claims processing for Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Reimbursement Arrangements, Transportation Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts (HSA), as well as COBRA clients, and determine coverage and payments according to IRS guidelines. The shift is 11am to 8pm Eastern Time, with earlier shifts available to colleagues by seniority and availability.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve client questions and issues, aiming for first-call, first-email or first-letter resolution
• Identify coverage gaps and offer client solutions, keeping proper documentation on coverage, eligibility and exceptions
• Document customer contacts fully in the client management system and keep daily client management functions up to date
• Ensure quality, production and time-service results meet standards
• Stay current on system functionality and regulations such as HIPAA, Section 125, Section 132, HSAs and COBRA
• Teach clients plan specifics and how to use online tools, and support revenue and retention goals

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsiveness, urgency and professionalism
• Additional qualifications such as Flexible Benefits experience are a plus but not required
