Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for its 25‑bed 5NE Telemetry Unit. This fast‑paced unit cares for patients recovering from stroke, alcohol withdrawal and other acute conditions. The RN will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and support patient education and discharge planning.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care, monitor vital signs, and document patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and follow physician and nursing orders.
• Develop, update, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge needs.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and at least one year of acute care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (upon hire or within the first year).

Required skills
