Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology

About the role

The Electrophysiology Lab at Martin North Hospital specializes in treating cardiac rhythm disorders. As an RN you will interact with patients before, during, and after procedures, providing education, advocacy, and support. The position is PRN with variable day shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions throughout procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and follow physician orders.
• Assist with loading patients into the operating room and document case details.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and discharge needs.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience (military RN experience considered).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of employment.
