Telehealth Nurse – Hybrid (Boynton Beach, FL)

About the role

We are seeking a Telehealth Nurse to join our hybrid team in Boynton Beach, FL. After an initial onsite training period, the role will be split 50 % onsite and 50 % remote, providing virtual patient care and supporting clinical decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Review physician messages from patients through the electronic medical record and follow established policies.
• Participate in regular debrief meetings with local sites to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
• Document provider and patient interactions promptly and accurately in the EMR.
• Deliver telephonic patient education on chronic‑condition management as directed by providers.
• Assist providers in contacting patients regarding test results.
• Communicate with local site staff, providers, and patients via phone or electronic messaging.
• Determine appropriate routing of non‑urgent messages and assess urgent situations, referring patients to emergency or urgent‑care services when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• 3‑5 years of clinical experience, preferably in an ambulatory office or emergency department, including telephone triage and patient education.
• Unrestricted RN licenses in New York and Florida at time of hire.
• Strong critical‑thinking and independent decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially over the phone.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
