Technical Services Coordinator

About the role

Apollo Safety, a provider of gas detection equipment, calibration services, repair, rentals and technical field service, is hiring a Technical Services Coordinator in Fall River, MA. The role coordinates customers, field technicians, sales and internal departments so that calibration, repair, installation, training, maintenance agreements and technical service projects run smoothly. It is a growth-track position with the chance to move into Technical Services Management, Operations Management or Assistant Director of Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch field service technicians, including calibrations, preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, startups, inspections and training sessions, and manage emergency requests and scheduling changes
• Act as main contact for customers, confirm appointments by phone and email, and follow up after service
• Help plan installation, commissioning, upgrade and repair projects, gather requirements and documents, and coordinate travel, equipment shipments and rental equipment
• Coordinate technician schedules, travel and PTO, keep service documentation and customer records, track open service calls and coordinate billing with Accounting
• Support recurring calibration and maintenance agreements, customer retention programs and renewal opportunities

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in scheduling, dispatching, customer service, project coordination, service administration or operations support
• Strong organization, time management and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Preferred: field service dispatching, industrial service, gas detection or calibration experience, and an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field

• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments
