Technical Recruiter

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is seeking a Technical Recruiter to lead end‑to‑end talent acquisition for the 5th District and System IT. You will partner with hiring managers and HR to build pipelines of high‑quality, diverse talent and support the bank’s mission of strengthening the economy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct full‑life‑cycle recruiting: source, screen, engage, and close candidates.
• Provide a best‑in‑class candidate experience at every touchpoint.
• Maintain and grow a pipeline of technical and non‑technical talent, emphasizing diversity.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and act as a talent advisor.
• Track, report, and improve pipeline metrics for internal stakeholders.
• Support hiring teams with interview coordination, people‑operations assistance, and onboarding.
• Participate in executive‑level and early‑career recruiting, including intern and Discover Analyst programs.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of recruiting experience (associate) or 3‑5+ years (intermediate) in an in‑house or agency setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing multiple technical and non‑technical requisitions simultaneously.
• Corporate recruiting experience preferred.

Required skills

• Workday recruiting module proficiency.
