Technical Program Manager - Digital Operations

About the role

AMAX is looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead its Digital Operations initiative, which uses AI agent technology to connect MES and ERP platforms and turn data into actionable insights for management and operations teams. As TPM, you will act as the bridge between internal business units and offshore software development teams, turning operational requirements into clear technical specifications and validating delivered solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, document and prioritize business requirements from management and operations stakeholders, then translate them into precise software requirements for offshore developers.
• Own end-to-end delivery of Digital Operations features, from ideation and design through development, testing, UAT and rollout.
• Synchronize business units (process owners, IE/PE, data teams) with offshore engineers on scope, timeline and quality.
• Review software deliverables, proofs of concept and prototypes, giving structured feedback and acceptance or rejection decisions.
• Design and deliver user training, and create documentation, SOPs and runbooks to support adoption.
• Identify risks, blockers and dependencies early and drive resolution through escalation and stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• 3+ years in a Technical Program Manager, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering or Manufacturing Operations role in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English.

Required skills

• Hands-on exposure to MES and/or ERP systems, including shop-floor workflows, work orders, BOMs, scheduling, inventory and data flows between MES and ERP.
• Foundational software knowledge: AI agents/LLMs, relational databases (SQL) and API-based integrations.
