Senior MIS Manager (SAP)

About the role

AMAX is looking for a Senior MIS/SAP Manager to join its Global Support team. The role oversees the development, implementation and optimization of the organization's MIS to support its objectives, working with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, deliver insights, drive continuous improvement and manage vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the MIS team in developing and maintaining global information systems
• Translate and map user requirements into database and software application designs
• Implement new features according to user requirements and create project plans for internal users and customers
• Analyze business requirements with cross-functional teams and evaluate emerging technologies for integration or automation
• Identify root causes, define process-improvement plans and resolve customer support issues
• Set up training and knowledge sharing within the MIS team
• Define project objectives, deliverables and performance metrics

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field
• At least 5 years managing MIS or software teams
• At least 7 years in database application design and/or implementation for ERP/MRP systems
• Eligible to work in the United States

Required skills

• SAP S/4 HANA and Microsoft SQL Server
• Peoplesoft experience is a plus; full deployment of SAP for core functions is a plus
