Technical Intern - Cyber Security

About the role

This internship offers hands‑on technical work focused on cybersecurity. Interns will apply intermediate technical knowledge, collaborate with project teams, and help design, implement, and support security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of applications, web solutions, and cloud‑native services.
• Support DevOps/DevSecOps activities such as Git repository management, build pipelines, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Assist in designing and evaluating cybersecurity solutions, including vulnerability assessments, incident‑response support, and secure configuration tasks.
• Contribute to integration of Microsoft 365 and other cloud services, APIs, data flows, and workflow automation.
• Provide technical assistance by diagnosing and resolving moderately complex issues and documenting solutions.
• Support the Cybersecurity team in monitoring tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection) and escalating potential threats.

Required profile

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate program (Engineering, MIS/IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related) as a sophomore or junior.
• Intermediate understanding of programming concepts, object‑oriented design, and databases.
• Familiarity with web/application development tools and languages (e.g., ASP.NET/Blazor, React, Angular, JavaScript, Python).
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles, networking, and operating‑system concepts.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance.
