Software Developer Graduate (AI Proficient)

About the role

As a Software Developer Graduate at AVEVA you will join a production‑grade team from day one, delivering real software for industrial enterprises. The role emphasizes an AI‑proficient mindset, using intelligent coding assistants and autonomous workflows to accelerate development.

Key responsibilities

• Make technical decisions on scaling, reliability, performance and maintenance for your team’s software.
• Design, develop, test, debug and deliver software applications on time.
• Provide direct customer support and handle escalated product issues.
• Document product behavior, implementation details and follow team processes and coding standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with GPA ≥ 3.0.
• Experience with software product or application development.
• Self‑directed, curious mindset and strong written and verbal communication.
• Eligibility for full‑time work authorization in the United States.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C++, C#/.NET, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor.
• Understanding of software design patterns, object‑oriented design and operating system internals.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving abilities.
