Technical Consultant – SAP S/4HANA

About the role

Technical Consultants at Ramp work on the frontlines, partnering with customers and internal teams to design and implement financial solutions that integrate with SAP S/4HANA. You will act as the technical and financial subject‑matter expert, guiding enterprise customers through onboarding, activation, and expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical consultant for enterprise accounts running SAP S/4HANA, supporting complex multi‑entity and global financial environments.
• Partner with Customer Activation and Account Management to assess requirements and propose scalable S/4HANA, HRIS, and API integrations.
• Collaborate with onboarding specialists and implementation leads to accelerate time‑to‑value and ensure customer success.
• Troubleshoot integration blockers, guide configuration decisions, and influence Ramp’s product roadmap with customer feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or related field.
• 4+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or similar customer‑facing technical role, preferably in SaaS/fintech.
• 3+ years hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA finance modules and enterprise deployments.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA finance and accounting workflows (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, cost centers).
• Experience with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for finance and operations stakeholders.
