Team Lead, Project Management

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is looking for a Project Manager Team Lead to join its Los Angeles office. The Fever Originals team invests in, manages and scales Fever's pipeline of original experiences, working with partners, providers, venues and other players in the live experiences ecosystem, and coordinating with Sales, Marketing, Production, Creative, Operations, Finance and Legal.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, launch and manage events from start to finish, with budget and executional ownership, and help scale events to other markets worldwide
• Build and manage the team of project managers based in the LA office for scalable projects
• Maintain strong relationships with C-level executives from major entertainment companies
• Oversee team members' work and performance to ensure they meet quality and revenue goals each quarter
• Grow revenue from events through sales performance, customer excellence and operational quality, while managing budgets and on-site teams
• Negotiate and close business deals with partners, pitch projects to major entertainment companies and execute detailed analysis of business opportunities and processes
• Manage internal project teams, represent Fever at local events and with local PR, and scale experiences to other cities (travel opportunity)

Required profile

• Project management, startup or consulting background with 7 to 10 years of experience
• Experience managing complex projects
• An MBA from a top-tier school is a plus
• Not an event production background
• Native English

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with team management experience
• Solution-focused, entrepreneurial approach
• Strong verbal and written communication and relationship management with C-level people
• Ability to influence and persuade all levels of staff, and to coordinate and audit internal and external teams
• Extensive networking skills and partnership building
