Team CDL Truck Driver – $140k-$160k Salary

About the role

R+L Carriers is hiring Class A Team Drivers to operate van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations. Teams are on the road five days a week and home for two days, enjoying a predictable schedule and competitive compensation.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and deliver freight using 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers.
• Maintain on‑time delivery schedules while adhering to DOT regulations.
• Complete pre‑employment DOT physicals, drug screens, and road tests.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and follow company policies.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA‑approved military transition).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Dependable, able to lift, bend, and stoop without difficulty.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Experience with double‑trailer handling.
• Haz‑mat, tanker, or LTL freight experience (preferred).
