Market Investigator

About the role

The Market Investigator will lead investigations into freight and shipment discrepancies, working closely with regional and corporate security teams. This position focuses on identifying risks, mitigating losses, and enhancing security processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, resolve, and prevent freight exceptions and losses using software tools and data analysis.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management and various business departments.
• Audit compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and improve incident response processes and investigation protocols.
• Conduct security assessments and support internal and external investigations.

Required profile

• Experience in security, loss prevention, or investigative roles.
• Senior‑level problem‑solving and investigative skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with all management levels.
• Self‑starter able to prioritize, multitask, and work independently.
• Ability to identify critical issues and propose workable solutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows operating system.
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Familiarity with VMS, access control, and case management systems.
