Teacher (Infant, Toddler, Preschool)

About the role

Brella is launching a new early‑childhood center in Newport Beach and seeks passionate educators to shape the classroom experience from day one. As a Teacher you will create a safe, nurturing environment for children aged 3 months to 6 years and support families as they join the Brella community.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, engaging classroom for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
• Support daily routines, transitions, curriculum delivery, documentation and child observations.
• Engage children in play‑based learning using age‑appropriate materials and responsive interactions.
• Collaborate with Lead Teachers, co‑teachers and center leadership on curriculum implementation and classroom quality.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and coworkers through respectful communication.
• Participate in trainings, workshops and team meetings and apply learning in the classroom.
• Maintain compliance with Title 22 requirements and Brella policies.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 units of Child Development/Early Childhood Education coursework; infant teachers need three infant‑care units.
• At least six months experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Meet California Department of Social Services and licensing requirements.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices.
