Afterschool Coach – Extracurricular Programs

About the role

The Afterschool Coach will plan, lead and develop extracurricular activities that support students' overall development, including skills, creativity, physical fitness, critical thinking and teamwork. The role also involves preparing and accompanying students to performances, competitions and tournaments, representing the school’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and lead training sessions, rehearsals and practical activities for the assigned discipline.
• Design age‑appropriate teaching strategies and develop technical, physical and artistic skills.
• Supervise students during activities, competitions and performances, ensuring safe and inclusive environments.
• Prepare and accompany teams to tournaments and competitions, monitoring conduct and school representation.
• Maintain accurate attendance records, manage equipment and facilities, and comply with safety protocols.

Required profile

• Academic background, certification or demonstrated experience in the discipline to be taught.
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school setting.
• Ability to manage groups of varying ages and skill levels.
• Availability to participate in events outside regular school hours.

Required skills

• Strong technical and practical knowledge of volleyball coaching.
