Tax Semi‑Senior – Hybrid Role

About the role

LMC is seeking an energetic Tax Semi‑Senior to join its hybrid team. You will work with a variety of clients, preparing tax returns, advising on strategies, and supporting the growth of junior staff in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file simple to complex tax returns for diverse clients.
• Communicate with clients and tax authorities, handling inquiries and audits.
• Advise clients on tax planning and strategies to optimize outcomes.
• Audit tax forms for completeness and accuracy.
• Research new tax trends, regulations, and ensure compliance.
• Mentor and train junior tax staff.
• Manage multiple assignments and report status to managers and partners.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a Tax Preparer or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s in Taxation preferred.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and research abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
