Revenue Accountant

About the role

Excelitas Technologies is seeking a Revenue Accountant to support revenue recognition, financial reporting, and compliance activities. Reporting to the Director of Global Revenue, you will partner with Commercial, Legal, Operations, and Accounting teams to ensure accurate accounting under ASC 606 and US GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer contracts and amendments to assess revenue recognition under ASC 606 and maintain supporting documentation.
• Perform month‑end close activities, prepare revenue‑related journal entries, and coordinate Non‑Recurring Engineering (NRE) entries.
• Prepare reconciliations, variance analyses, and execute SOX controls for revenue‑related balance‑sheet accounts.
• Support process‑improvement and automation initiatives using tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, and Co‑pilot.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years of accounting, revenue accounting, or finance experience.
• Knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
