About the role

PwC is seeking a Tax LLM Associate to join its Los Angeles Tax practice for the Winter 2027 intake. You will work on complex global tax issues, support client engagements, and develop technical expertise while contributing to high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Navigate global tax regulations to optimize strategies and mitigate risk.
• Support client engagements, including tax compliance and consulting projects.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions.
• Participate in corporate tax planning, transactions, and post‑deal integration tasks.
• Conduct tax modeling and analyze purchase‑sale agreements to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with tax professionals to deliver innovative, industry‑specific solutions.
• Communicate complex tax concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Master of Laws (LLM) degree.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0; preference for 3.5.
• Commitment to meet educational requirements and pass the Bar exam before starting full‑time.
• Entry‑level candidate in the final academic year or recently graduated.
