About the role

As a Tax Intern at PwC in Los Angeles, you will join the Tax practice for the Winter 2028 term, gaining hands‑on experience in corporate tax compliance, research and international planning. You will work alongside seasoned professionals, supporting the delivery of tailored tax solutions while developing a solid foundation for a future CPA career.

Key responsibilities

• Assist tax teams in preparing corporate tax returns and compliance documentation.
• Research and analyse complex tax regulations to help optimise client tax positions.
• Support international and multistate tax planning activities.
• Contribute to the development of tax models, provisions and audit documentation.
• Apply data‑analytics techniques to identify tax‑optimization opportunities.
• Observe and learn from experienced tax consultants to build professional skills.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the state of employment.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
