About the role

Join PwC’s Tax practice as a Winter 2028 Tax Intern in Salt Lake City. You will work alongside experienced tax professionals, gaining hands‑on exposure to corporate tax compliance, international tax planning, and data‑driven tax optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Assist in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
• Analyze complex tax regulations to help optimize client tax positions and minimize risk.
• Participate in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
• Conduct tax research and contribute innovative solutions to consulting projects.
• Help develop tax models, structures, and provisions for clients.
• Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax efficiency.
• Observe and learn from senior tax professionals to build personal development.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
