Risk Modeling Services Life Manager

About the role

PwC is seeking a Risk Modeling Services Life Manager to lead the design and delivery of actuarial risk models for life‑insurance clients. In this position you will combine statistical expertise with business insight to help clients navigate regulatory challenges and improve internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, validate and implement statistical risk models for life‑insurance portfolios.
• Lead project teams through strategic planning, execution and delivery of actuarial engagements.
• Coach and mentor junior staff, fostering technical growth and performance excellence.
• Collaborate with clients to understand risk‑management objectives and provide tailored analytical solutions.
• Prepare and present financial risk reports to senior stakeholders.
• Promote innovative approaches and technology adoption within the risk modeling practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Fellowship of the Society of Actuaries (or equivalent) preferred; extensive experience may substitute for certification.
