About the role

As a Tax Intern for PwC in Salt Lake City, you will join the Tax practice during the Summer 2028 term. The position offers hands‑on exposure to corporate tax compliance, international tax planning and consulting projects, allowing you to develop a solid foundation in tax advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Assist in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and related compliance documents.
• Analyze complex tax regulations to help optimise client tax positions and minimise risk.
• Participate in international and multistate tax planning activities.
• Conduct tax research and contribute innovative solutions to consulting engagements.
• Help develop tax models and structures for client projects.
• Support the preparation of tax provisions and audit documentation.
• Apply data‑analytics techniques to identify opportunities for tax optimisation.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
