About the role

As a Tax Intern at PwC for the Summer 2027 program in San Antonio, you will be immersed in tax consulting, supporting teams that deliver advice, planning and compliance services to corporate clients. The role offers hands‑on exposure to corporate tax returns, international tax planning and data‑driven analysis while you develop a professional foundation in the global tax landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
• Analyze complex tax regulations to optimize positions and minimize risks.
• Participate in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
• Conduct tax research and contribute to innovative consulting solutions.
• Help develop tax models and structures for client engagements.
• Support the preparation of tax provisions and audit documentation.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
• Intellectual curiosity for tax research and planning.
