Tax Director - Private Companies

About the role

Pwc Private is seeking a Tax Director to lead the delivery of tax compliance, planning and advisory services for privately owned businesses, entrepreneurs and high‑net‑worth individuals. You will work across the full business life‑cycle, from inception to growth, maturity and exit, helping clients optimise cash flow, manage wealth and navigate complex tax issues.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for private‑company tax services and drive business development.
• Lead and oversee tax compliance, planning and advisory engagements for private entities.
• Identify market gaps and develop value‑added service propositions.
• Promote innovative ways of working, leveraging technology and process efficiencies.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships and ensure high standards of ethical conduct.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in tax compliance and advisory for private companies.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop multidisciplinary teams.
