Talent Manager - Administrative & Customer Support

About the role

Robert Half is hiring a Talent Manager in Carlsbad, California, working in a team environment. Talent Managers negotiate and develop business with new and current clients, and market the firm's services by telephone, video and in-person meetings with hiring managers and decision-makers in accounting and finance departments.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and match highly skilled industry professionals with clients' projects, contract assignments and contract-to-full-time opportunities.
• Manage ongoing engagements to deliver outstanding customer service to both clients and candidates.
• Provide ongoing communication and career guidance to candidates.
• Participate in local trade association and networking events to increase Robert Half's presence in the local business community.

Required profile

• Degree preferred.
• 1+ years of industry experience preferred.
• 2+ years of business development experience in a metrics-driven environment, with at least one success developing new business in a multi-call, multi-decision-maker setting.
• Prior success marketing to and closing top-level decision-makers at small and medium-sized businesses and building long-term relationships.
• Knowledge and familiarity with industry department operations.
• Positive attitude and an engaging, businesslike approach.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Contact management applications such as Salesforce.

What we offer

• Salary range of $65,000 to $75,000, negotiable depending on experience and location.
• Base salary and bonus pay for talent professional positions.
