Talent Manager - Accounting & Finance

About the role

Robert Half is looking for a Talent Manager in Long Island who works in a team and negotiates and develops business with new and current clients. The role markets the firm's services by telephone, video and in-person meetings with hiring managers and decision-makers in accounting and finance departments.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and match highly skilled professionals to clients' projects, contract assignments and contract-to-full-time opportunities
• Manage ongoing engagements to deliver outstanding customer service to clients and candidates
• Provide ongoing communication and career guidance to candidates
• Take part in local trade association and networking events to grow Robert Half's presence in the local business community

Required profile

• Degree preferred
• 1+ years of experience preferred
• 2+ years of business development in a metrics-driven environment, with at least one success developing new business in a multi-call, multi-decision-maker setting
• Prior success marketing to and closing top-level decision-makers at small and medium-sized businesses and building long-term relationships
• Knowledge of department operations, positive attitude and engaging business approach

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Windows operating system
• Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Contact management application such as Salesforce

What we offer

• Salary range of $66,000-$88,000 annually
• Base salary and bonus pay for talent professional positions
