Systems Integration Engineer

About the role

The Systems Integration Engineer will develop and build interfaces to Contexture participant EHR applications, ensuring system integrity, compatibility, standardization, and security. This full‑time position is based in Phoenix, AZ or Denver/Grand Junction, CO with virtual office flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop interfaces, including data mapping, translation, and transformation specifications for health information systems.
• Analyze HL7 messages, CCDA documents, and other standards to implement interoperable solutions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across data analysis, build, QA, UAT, and post‑production support.
• Create and maintain technical solution and interface specification documentation.
• Collaborate with implementation, development, and support teams to deliver and maintain scalable production systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in IT, systems integration, healthcare interoperability, or related fields.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Residency in one of the listed base locations (Phoenix, Denver, or Grand Junction).

Required skills

• SQL, MongoDB, API, XML, SOAP, HL7, CCD, IHE profiles, XCA, JavaScript.
• Understanding of Web Services, JSON, and preferably FHIR.
• Experience with interface engines, data mapping, and healthcare standards (LOINC, SNOMED, CCD‑A).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version‑control processes.
