Systems Engineer – Dedicated Onsite Support

About the role

Atlas Technica is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide dedicated onsite IT support for a client in Austin, TX. The role involves hands‑on technical assistance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with internal teams while working directly with end users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical assistance and resolve support tickets for Microsoft Windows, Office, desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Teams, Entra ID) and administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and endpoint‑management tools.
• Troubleshoot networking, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V), security and infrastructure issues, and follow change‑control procedures.
• Maintain accurate ticket notes, documentation and communicate status updates to users and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in desktop support, systems engineering or related IT roles.
• Strong communication skills, customer‑first attitude and ability to work independently or within a fast‑paced team.
• Willingness and ability to work full‑time onsite at the client’s Austin office.
