System Fitter

About the role

Enerflex is seeking a System Fitter to join its Fabrication Planning & Production Control department in Houston. The role involves assembling and fitting pipe and instrumentation on large skid packages for gas processing and compression units.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble pipe and instrumentation according to P&ID drawings and job specifications.
• Lay out pipe fit‑up with valves and components, ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Work on large skid packages, processing, and gas compression units.
• Mentor and teach team members on specific project tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in production and manufacturing of gas and process unit skids.
• Strong safety orientation and reliable attendance.
• Ability to read and comprehend P&ID drawings.
• Mechanically skilled and able to work in an industrial environment.

Required skills

• Pipe assembly and instrumentation fitting.
• Use of cutting torch, grinding, tack welding, and measuring tools.
• Operation of thread machines.
• Knowledge of addition and subtraction of measurements.
