Supply Technician

About the role

The Supply Technician supports the ammunition inventory management system by handling documentation, analyzing transaction records, and providing technical assistance. This position ensures accurate inventory control and helps improve processes through data‑driven recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate office automation equipment to store and produce organizational documents.
• Prepare reports identifying inventory discrepancies.
• Perform supply support functions for the ammunition inventory management system.
• Provide technical assistance on inventory management procedures.
• Research historical data to enhance inventory management functions.
• Analyze depot transaction records in detail.
• Develop recommendations to improve the quality of inventory transactions.

Required profile

• Obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Meet AR 190-11 requirements for physical security of arms, ammunition, and explosives.
• Comply with the Lautenberg Amendment and related firearms regulations.
• Participate in the Civilian Drug Abuse Testing Program and random drug testing.
• Sign DA Form 5019 as required for critical civilian positions.
• Fulfill AMCR 350-4 training and certification for ammunition operations personnel.
