Supply Chain Planner – Finished Goods (Hybrid, Houston)

About the role

Join BASF's Performance Materials team in Houston as a Supply Chain Planner (PMU). You will act as a Finished Goods Planner, managing production scheduling and supporting key supply‑chain processes within SAP to align customer demand, plant capacity, and inventory health.

Key responsibilities

• Develop production plans that meet demand while optimizing plant capacity and inventory levels.
• Execute finished‑goods production scheduling in SAP across Made‑to‑Stock and Made‑to‑Order models.
• Review and manage new or changed customer orders in SAP.
• Coordinate order fulfillment with 3PL providers, in‑house shipping, and the customer‑service team.
• Drive disposition of non‑conforming finished‑goods inventory and support re‑processing initiatives.
• Support automation of site production processes.
• Maintain and update plant master data in SAP for accurate planning and execution.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (required); undergraduate degree in Supply Chain or Manufacturing preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and balance multiple priorities.
• Good understanding of SAP planning and inventory management, or willingness to learn.
