Supply Chain Operations Supervisor

About the role

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a hands‑on Supply Chain Operations Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and material‑handling activities in a fast‑paced research and manufacturing environment. The role ensures safe, efficient movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods while supporting the company’s mission to deliver commercial fusion power.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily warehouse and dock operations using sit‑down fork trucks, stand‑up reach trucks, order pickers, and motorized pallet jacks.
• Oversee overhead crane, gantry, and hoist usage for heavy and oversized equipment, enforcing lift plans and rigging procedures.
• Manage inbound dock processes: receiving, PO verification, unloading, cargo inspection, and cross‑docking.
• Coordinate material distribution to internal customers, designing lean flow patterns and pull‑system staging.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through pick/pack, cycle counts, physical inventories, and ERP transaction logging.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to quarantine damaged or non‑conforming parts.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas.
