Mechanic 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanic for the second shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) to keep our fleet of shared electric vehicles in top condition at our Los Angeles hub. The role is on‑site, temporary and focuses on routine maintenance, safety checks and quick repairs to maximise vehicle availability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality checks and compliance inspections on vehicles before deployment.
• Carry out repairs ranging from basic mechanical maintenance to complex electronic component replacement.
• Manage battery operations including inspection, rotation, check‑in/out and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of completed checks, repairs and parts usage.
• Support inventory organization of tools, parts and vehicles.
• Conduct tire maintenance such as changes, inflation and assembly.
• Operate pallet jacks or push carts safely on a regular basis.
• Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lb (≈ 30 kg) frequently.
• Experience working varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Self‑motivated with the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical repair techniques.
• Electronic component replacement.
• Battery inspection and management.
• Operation of pallet jacks or push carts.
• Familiarity with iOS mobile applications for fleet management.
